Menhover Technology has established an Organic Synthesis Research Institute, staffed with multiple PhD and Master’s researchers and the holder of dozens of invention patents. The institute is equipped with advanced facilities, including microreactor-based organic synthesis systems. The institute has also built a comprehensive polyurethane foam application evaluation laboratory, featuring multiple automated pilot-scale units for pharmaceutical intermediates, catalysts, polyether synthesis, and organic silicon. High-precision analytical equipment includes gel permeation chromatography (GPC), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), GC-MS, fully automatic surface/interfacial tension analyzers, dynamic surface/interfacial tension analyzers, contact angle testers, and dynamic foam testers.

In polyurethane application evaluation, the institute has developed specialized laboratories for soft foam, rigid foam, high-resilience foam, and physical property testing, covering multiple industry evaluation capabilities. Over 20 high-performance soft foam silicone oil products have been developed, with more than 10 successfully industrialized. Research on high-end catalyst technology is ongoing.

In the field of new materials, the institute has established some of the most advanced application evaluation and R&D facilities in China’s industry. It has developed proprietary technologies for high-performance specialty plastics and won awards in the Shanghai Project Innovation Competition. The institute actively collaborates with research institutions such as East China University of Science and Technology, Jiangsu University, and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics to co-develop novel functional catalysts and specialty plastics products.
